CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department was kept busy Thursday, June 5, responding to a range of incidents throughout the city, including traffic violations, thefts, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.

Early in the morning around 12:17 a.m., officers responded to a traffic accident at North Bridge and East Water Streets involving issues related to headlights and right-of-way violations. Just 30 minutes later, another call brought police to the IHOP on Consumer Center Drive for a hit-skip crash. Both investigations remain ongoing.

Shortly before 8 a.m., a warrant was served on North Paint Street. Later in the morning, officers conducted multiple traffic enforcement stops using Lidar along North Bridge Street between 7th Street and Eastern Avenue. Several citations were
