WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) - North country congresswoman Elise Stefanik has announced the launch of a political action committee to help New York State Republicans.

In an announcement from her office, Stefanik announced the start of the "Save New York" PAC to support GOP candidates in 2025 and lay the groundwork for numerous races across the state in 2026.

One of the main goals is to try to unseat New York Governor Kathy Hochul, who is facing a primary challenge from former Lieutenant Governor Anthony Delgado.
