Shed lovers are clearing out tools and gardening equipment to turn their backyard outbuildings into wellness retreats. Judges for Cuprinol Shed of the Year 2025 said they had received a surge in “sanctuary-style entries” for this year’s competition.
Frontrunners for the coveted prize include an arts and craft mecca in Stefanie Smith’s Manchester garden called “Rosie”, Debby Raynor’s “Book Shack” bolthole in Nottinghamshire, and Rachel Mcneish’s Bird Song retreat in Belfast.
