Emmerdale fans are convinced they've "uncovered" Charles Anderson's new love interest, and they're already in the village.

Village vicar Charles (Kevin Mathurin) made his debut in the Dales in 2020, and has since been at the heart of numerous memorable storylines.

Shortly after his arrival, viewers discovered that Charles's son, Ethan (Emile John), was also relocating to the village.

Regrettably, their close bond was severed when Ethan tragically died following a hit-and-run revenge attack last year.

Ethan had previously lost control of his car, causing his passenger Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) to fall into a coma. In a vengeful act, Nicky's mother Ruby (Beth Cordingly) struck Ethan with her car, reports Belfast Live .
