OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — Friday After 5 has been called off again due to the possibility of bad weather.

Organizers of the event in Owensboro shared the announcement on Friday afternoon.

"Due to the potential for severe weather forecasted for this afternoon and evening, and in the interest of safety, we have made the decision to CANCEL tonight's Friday After 5 - THE JACK WHARFF BAND with Hayley Payne," the announcement says.

Weather permitting, the event will return to Owensboro next Friday.
