SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNOP) - The Scottsbluff Police Department is working to identify a man killed after being struck by a train early Friday.
Officers were called to the area of 2nd Avenue and Railway at 12:13 a.m. for a crash involving a train and a pedestrian. Upon arrival, they found a man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Royce Massie said the man’s identification is unknown, “but a lead is being pursued.”
Sgt. Massie said additional details may be released at a later time depending on the outcome.
