LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lincoln Police Department is searching for two Bobcat track loaders and those responsible for taking them.
On Wednesday, police responded to a report of two Bobcats stolen from a construction site near Northwest 56th Street and West Partridge Lane.
The manager of Duke Aerial Equipment in Lincoln told officers they had rented out the equipment to a construction company in Oklahoma for one week. The loaders were dropped off on May 20 around 2:30 p.m. and had not been seen since.
During the investigation, police spoke with a neighbor who said he saw a trailer arrive around midnight on May 21 and load up the Bobcats. Officers say it was confirmed that it was not Duke Aerial, or the company believed to have rented them. That company said it had not rented any equip
