KENTUCKY (WKYT) - The death toll from the severe storms Kentucky experienced in May has risen, according to Governor Andy Beshear.

Governor Beshear announced on social media that a man from McCracken County has died, bringing the death toll to 20.

The Governor did not release the victim’s name.

Seventeen victims of May’s tornadoes were from Laurel County, along with one victim each from Pulaski County and Russell County .
