Chop Steakhouse & Bar, one of Canada's most recognized steakhouse brands, is officially crossing to the U.S. and landing in Miami. The restaurant will open its first U.S. location this June at 3015 Grand Ave. in CocoWalk, taking over the 10,000-square-foot space formerly home to the Key Club .

For those expecting a classic steakhouse vibe, it's allegedly anything but. With an impressive new island bar, covered patio seating, and private dining rooms, the restaurant aims to feel more like a fun South Florida spot than a mahogany-and-cigar kinda restaurant.
