NORFOLK — If Saturday’s fight night at Scope is anything like Thursday’s press conference, boxing fans can expect to see major fireworks.

During the press conference, World Boxing Organization lightweight champion and Norfolk native Keyshawn Davis (13-0, 9 knockouts) and challenger Edwin De Los Santos (16-2, 14 KOs) met on stage for a photo opportunity. But while they were staring one another down, De Los Santos grabbed Davis’ championship belt.

Davis immediately reacted with a hard shove to De Los Santos’ chest as people jumped in to separate the two fighters.

Afterwards, Davis was all smiles as he talked about his return to Scope, including his brothers — Kevin and Keon, known collectively at DB3.
