A screen grab taken from a handout CCTV video shows inmates running through the loading dock at the Orleans Parish Justice Center, in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 16, 2025.

Two of the 10 inmates who broke out of a New Orleans jail are still on the run three weeks later, and one of them might have just posted on Instagram.

"My name is #AntoineMassey Im Innocent !!" reads a post dated June 4. The photo in the post shows a man with facial tattoos that appear to match Massey's. He is standing next to a parked car wearing Houston Rockets memorabilia in the photo.

If the social media post is authentic, it could be the second time Massey has posted since his escape. A video posted to Instagram on June 1 by an account with a similar username showed a man who identified himself as Massey declaring he was not the mastermind behind the breakout and proclaiming his innocence. The Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office said it was aware of the video and urged Massey to turn himself in, but didn't confirm or deny its authenticity.

The U.S. Marshals Service did not immediately respond to an inquiry on June 6. Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Fair told Nola.com that multiple agencies are reviewing it. The sheriff's office referred an inquiry from USA TODAY about the video's authenticity to state police.

"All video and surveillance evidence is part of the ongoing investigation and search for the escaped inmates. We cannot provide additional information that may hinder investigative leads or law enforcement operations," Sgt. Kate Stegall, a spokesperson for Louisiana State Police, said in a statement.

Massey, 32, and Derrick Groves, 27, are the two inmates still at large since the jailbreak in the early morning hours of May 16. They, along with eight others, escaped through a hole in a cell wall after ripping away a toilet and sink unit. On top of the eight recaptured inmates, a slew of others have been arrested and charged with helping the group escape or evade authorities.

Three of the inmates were nabbed within hours of the escape, and five more were caught in the weeks after. Three of them were found over 300 miles away in Texas and led authorities there on a high-speed chase.

Massey was in jail facing charges of domestic abuse involving strangulation and theft of a motor vehicle, according to Orleans Parish records. There also is a warrant for his arrest in St. Tammany Parish for second-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping, domestic abuse involving strangulation and violation of a protective order involving battery stemming from an incident in November, according to the parish sheriff's office.
