The driver in a Boxing Day crash on Calgary’s Macleod Trail that killed a nine-year-old girl has plead guilty to robbery, fleeing police, and dangerous driving causing death.
Amanda Reitmeier was in Calgary Court Friday, where she was preparing to see the driver accused of killing her daughter Victoria for the first time.
Less than six months ago, on Boxing Day, Reitmeier and her daughters, Madison and Victoria, were heading to an appointment when their vehicle and four others were violently struck on Macleod Trail by a suspect fleeing from a robbery.
All three were rushed to hospital.
Victoria didn’t survive.
