One dead at hospital after Sunnyside collision, driver suspected of DUI

SUNNYSIDE, Wash.–One person died after a three-vehicle collision in Sunnyside.

The 24-year-old Grandview resident was transported to the emergency room and was pronounced dead, according to the Sunnyside Police Department.

A 25-year-old from Pasco, who caused the collision, is suspected of driving under the influence, according to SPD. A search warrant for blood took place at the Sunnyside Hospital.
