BRUNSWICK, Ga. — 1:35 p.m. update: Two northbound and two southbound lanes of US-341 are now open, according to the Glynn County Police Department .

The Glynn County Sheriff's Office is urging drivers to "stay away" from the intersection of US-341 and Warren Mason Boulevard in Brunswick due to multiple downed live electric wires in the road following a semi-truck crash.

The sheriff's office said in a Facebook post that both northbound and southbound traffic on the highway is stopped and that drivers will not be allowed to take Exit 36A from Interstate 95 to get onto the highway.

Two people were confirmed injured. The crash was caused by a tarp on top of the semi that struck the power line.

First Coast News will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
