Explosion, fire reported at Villa Rica ammunition supply store

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - An explosion and fire at a Villa Rica ammunition supply store left locals shaken on Thursday night.

Authorities say they were called to the fire at Georgia Arms, which is off Industrial Court E, at around 8:30 p.m. The flames started in one of the store’s back buildings, not its main building.

Online, Villa Rica residents say they heard an explosion before seeing smoke and flames climb high into the sky.

No injuries have been reported so far.
