PERRY COUNTY, Ohio — A woman is dead after a three-vehicle crash in Perry County on Monday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers were called on a report of a crash around 4:35 p.m. on state Route 13 near County Road 70.
OSHP said a Ram truck was driving southbound on SR-13. At the same time, a Honda Civic and a Ford Fiesta were stopped in traffic.
The Ram truck hit the back of the Civic, causing it to travel off the right side of the road. The Ram then hit the Fiesta, pushing it onto the west berm of SR-13.
The Ram continued off the side of the road and into a ditch.
The driver of the Civic, identified as 43-year-old Stephanie Padilla, of New Lexington, was transported to Somerset Genesis, then taken to Grant Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead on Thursday.
