GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - A Friday night in Grand Junction can look like many different things, but if there's nothing on your slate, the city boasts many local end-of-the-week attractions.

If you're hungry, go check out the Grand Valley Food Truck Friday. Tonight, it'll take place at the Lowell School at 310 N 7th St. from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The evening offers a rotating lineup of food trucks featuring anything from Thai to BBQ, then after the dinner course, they bring out dessert vendors. Also, a different local artist provides live music at each event.

Heading over to Suplizio Field, the Grand Junction Jackalopes (3-11) host the Idaho Falls Chukars (11-3) tonight at 5:35 p.m. Not only do spectators get to watch some baseball but tonight is one of just three firework nights.
