STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (KREX) — On Wednesday, the Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) relocated a cow moose and her two calves from River Creek Park located in Steamboat Springs. The decision to relocate the moose was made regarding the safety of the public and the moose.
The cow moose that was relocated was the same one involved in the recent attack on Sunday, June 1, where two people were injured. One woman was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. There is no additional information from CPW about her condition. The other individual involved had minor injuries.
