Overall, it is a sunny start to your afternoon here in Central Florida, but showers will begin to move in from the west as the day progresses. With peak temperatures soaring into the low/mid-nineties today there is the possibility of a stronger storm or two, as instability rises ahead of sea breeze collisions. Warmer weather will be in store for us this weekend. Look to see highs in the mid nineties (Heat Index in the triple digits), with a chance for an isolated shower.
