John Jacob Madrid died of injuries sustained in a May 31 crash.

Madrid allegedly failed to yield to a Hyundai Tucson while turning on South Road.

Madrid and his passenger, a 37-year-old woman, were not wearing helmets.

The driver of the SUV was unharmed.

Thirty-eight-year-old John Jacob Madrid has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash in Eastern Pueblo County on May 31, according to the Pueblo County Coroner.

Madrid died of injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with an SUV at 29th Lane and South Road, the coroner said.

"He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. His next of kin has been notified," said the Coroner.
