Wupatki National Monument was recognized by the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office in May for trail rehabilitation work, as part of the annual Arizona Governor’s Heritage Preservation Honor Awards.

The Honor Awards, according to a press release, “recognize people, organizations, and projects that represent outstanding achievements in preserving Arizona's prehistoric and historic resources.” There were eight winners this year, spanning the state. Copy article link
