FLINT, MI – The new president for Powers Catholic High School has spent years educating and coaching students in Genesee County.
Kate Gross, who spent 15 years teaching at Saint Robert Bellarmine Catholic School in Flushing and contributed four years to Powers Catholic’s Board of Trustees, was named to the position by The Most Reverend Earl Boyea, Bishop of Lansing.
She will take on the role effective July 1.
Before her presidency, she served as Powers Catholic’s Director of Advancement for eight months and has also coached middle school sports within Genesee County Catholic Schools for seven years, according to a statement from the Diocese of Lansing.
