SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane said it is set to receive millions in state funding to support critical local priorities , including the North-South Corridor , public safety, housing, behavioral health services and community development. City officials say the funding will help address some of the most urgent needs facing Spokane residents.
"This funding is critically important for the City of Spokane,” said Mayor Lisa Brown. “It will help us make meaningful progress on the issues our residents care about most. I’m grateful to our state legislators for advocating for our community's needs and delivering on needed investments amid a challenging budget situation.”
