Columbus, Ohio (WSYX) — "Surviving Ohio State," a documentary which talks about the sexual abuse scandal with Dr. Richard Strauss at Ohio State University , will premiere June 17 on HBO and its streaming service Max , soon to be renamed HBO Max.

The documentary, produced by George Clooney and featuring interviews with Strauss abuse survivors , will debut June 9 at the Tribeca Film Festival .

Strauss worked at Ohio State from 1978 to 1998 and died by suicide in 2005.
