Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was slapped with a Community Note on Thursday after posting a video of herself speaking out against artificial intelligence regulation, writing: “I’m pro-humanity. Not pro-transhumanity,” and vowing to vote against any bill that “strips states of their right to protect American jobs and families.”

But readers quickly pointed out that Greene had already voted for the very bill she appeared to be denouncing. A community note added to the post stated that Greene had supported the “OBBB," the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill," which restricts states from regulating AI for 10 years.

The Community Note linked to a tweet posted last month by Greene admitting she hadn’t read that part of the bill before voting for it.
