NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - Authorities released surveillance photos of a suspect who allegedly attacked a woman jogging along Ingleside Boulevard on May 28.

The photos were taken near the construction site at 2949 Ingleside Boulevard, where the victim told police she was jogging when an unknown person approached her from behind, grabbed her mouth, and tackled her into the grass, according to an incident report.

The victim screamed during the attack. The suspect gave up during the encounter and ran off toward Weber Boulevard.

According to the report, the victim was out later than normal, which created concern from her two roommates. They eventually found her running from the construction site and brought her back home.
