HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (PIX11) – A man fatally shot his girlfriend and his girlfriend’s 10-year-old daughter in a Hamilton Township residence Thursday morning, police said.

He then took a gun and shot himself dead, according to authorities.

Police said officers responded to a 911 call for a residence on Henry Street at 4 a.m.

A man, a woman, and a 10-year-old child were all found to have gunshot wounds when officers arrived, police said. They were all pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives believe the adult male shot his girlfriend and her 10-year-old daughter before he shot himself. Police are still investigating the circumstances leading up to the shootings, officials said.
