DULUTH — For the second time this week, a destination cruise ship visited Duluth-Superior.
Victory II, a cruise ship that sails under the flag of the Bahamas, arrived in the Duluth Entry just after 8 a.m. on Thursday and docked at the newly constructed section of seawall alongside the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center before departing for Thunder Bay, Ontario, just after 5 p.m, according to the website marinetraffic.com.
Victory II is part of Victory Cruise Lines and is 300 feet long and 50 feet wide.
On Tuesday, Duluth welcomed Viking Octantis as the season’s first cruise ship arrival. Viking Octantis is part of Viking Cruises , sails under the flag of Norway and is nearly 673 feet long and almost 78 feet wide.
