A total of 24 French-speaking African countries will be able to access Netflix through their pay TV subscription services as part of a strategic distribution agreement between the streaming service and French media conglomerate Canal+ .
Canal+ becomes the first pay TV operator in that region of Africa to distribute Netflix under such an agreement. Iconic shows like Stranger Things, La Casa de Papel, Lupin, Emily in Paris, and Squid Game will be made available alongside popular African productions like Blood & Water, Young Famous & African, Unseen, King of Boys, Anikulapo, Blood Sisters, and Kings of Joburg.
