SAGINAW, MI -- Saginaw-Shiawassee Habitat for Humanity is calling for volunteers to help revitalize 16 homes in Saginaw’s Covenant Neighborhood as part of the organization’s third Neighborhood Revitalization Project.

The multi-day effort will run June 10-13 and June 17-20, with daily work shifts from 7:30 a.m. to noon and 12 p.m. to 4:30 or 5 p.m.

In addition, two special evening shifts are scheduled for June 12 and June 18 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Organizers say no prior construction experience is required and encourage anyone 14 or older to participate.

Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt, and local restaurants and community groups will provide lunch.
