DETROIT – Postseason college football is set to return to the Motor City.

The GameAbove Sports Bowl announced that its 2025 matchup at Ford Field will be played at 1 p.m. on F riday, Dec. 26. The game will be televised on ESPN.

The matchup will be the second under the GameAbove Sports banner. The company specializes in charitable giving, capital investment, sports entertainment, and media ventures. It replaced Quick Lane as the title sponsor.

Detroit has hosted a bowl game since the creation of the Motor City Bowl in 1997.
