LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) — A cultural festival honoring diversity, a celebration of Lexington’s neighborhoods and musicians and a way to support our veterans, all in the Weekend Roundup.
SWAHILI DAY 2025
Swahili is the third most spoken language in Lexington.
The 4th Annual Swahili Day features African music, vendors, drums, and cuisine, as well as a cultural fashion show and a kids’ zone.
The free festival put on by the Marafiki Center is taking place at Bluegrass Community and Technical College’s Newtown campus.
