On April 27, 2025, around 7:30 am, Greenville Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Main at Scott’s Fueling Station in reference to a business burglary.

When officers arrived, they were told that the business had been burglarized with several items reported missing.

Video surveillance shows a suspect who stole various items from the container of the business.

After further investigation, the suspect was identified as 35 year-old Rickey Whitaker of Greenville.

On June 6th, Whitaker was taken into custody by the Greenville Police Department and charged with Business Burglary. He is being held in the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility on $5,000 bond.

He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
