INDIANAPOLIS — A lifelong Pacers fan, Indianapolis native and singer-songwriter has released a new song titled "YES 'CERS" ahead of the team's run in the 2025 NBA Finals.

Josh Chalfant released the new song at midnight on June 3. He says since its release, it has been played "more than a dozen times" on local Indianapolis radio stations, which has helped it garner more attention across the city and state.

“My dream with 'YES 'CERS' is to connect all of us as Pacers fans with the energy, optimism, and excitement that we're all feeling right now," Chalfant said. "I want it to be the Pacers anthem."

Chalfant says it took him about seven seconds for the guitar melody to come to him before finally nailing down how he wanted the song to sound.
