GIBRALTAR, Wis. (WBAY) - The police department in Menominee, Michigan confirmed Friday that the body recovered on June 4, near Little Strawberry Island in the Bay of Green Bay, has been positively identified by the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office as Lisa Janine Pipp, age 42, of Greendale.

Police said Pipp was reported missing January 13 after she walked away from a vehicle on the ice of Green Bay during an argument. Multiple agencies searched air, water, and ground for several weeks, but never found her.

The Door County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a body in the water near Little Strawberry Island on June 4 at around 5:07 p.m. First responders recovered the body.

An autopsy and scientific identification procedures confirmed the body was Lisa Janine Pipp.
