Faced with staggering challenges, including the disappearance of many of the programs being celebrated Friday, the head of St. Lawrence College told Brockville graduates not to fear tumultuous times.

Glenn Vollebregt, SLC’s president and chief executive officer, led off the tri-campus institution’s convocation season with an address to graduates at the Brockville campus, acknowledging the world has been made chaotic not only by the ongoing tensions between Canada and the United States, but more immediately by the “well-documented challenges” faced by Ontario’s college sector.
