ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The city of Atlanta will launch its annual Summer Food Program on June 9, the city announced Friday.
The program will seek to provide 150,000 free meals for school-age children up to 18 years old. Members of Camp Best Friends are automatically eligible for free breakfast and lunch.
Interested parents can find Summer Food Program sites by visiting the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning website and typing in their zip code .
The program will also be available through a food truck . The food truck will visit eight City of Atlanta outdoor pools, four Atlanta-Fulton Public Libraries and one splashpad.
The program will end July 25.
