WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The West Monroe Fire Department and Monroe Police Bomb Squad are currently investigating what they call an “active bomb threat investigation” at the 200 block of Cryer Street; near Cypress Street in West Monroe.

The investigation is taking place at an unmarked storage facility.

According to West Monroe Police Department’s Chief of Police Jason Pleasant, this is in connection with a bomb threat investigation of a vehicle that occurred in the WMPD’s parking lot around 11:30 am.

Pleasant says at this time, they do have a suspect in custody.
