HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - We have a winner!

Michael Whyrick of Hastings won $20,000 playing Lotto America® from the Nebraska Lottery.

Whyrick purchased his winning Lotto America ticket at Coach’s Corner, located 3212 Osborne Drive East in Hastings.

The five-play quick pick ticket contained one play that matched all five red ball numbers (01, 06, 26, 41, 51) but not the Star Ball number from the June 4 drawing for $20,000.

While claiming this prize on June 5, Whyrick told Nebraska Lottery officials that his wife heard a $20,000 winning ticket was sold at Coach’s Corner, and she thought there was a possibility it was their ticket. This suspicion was confirmed when Michael checked his ticket at the store and the clerk said, “Oh you’re the one.”
