COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A Franklin County grand jury indicted a woman accused of aiding a wanted man charged with shooting two police officers days before.

Jayla Call, 31, was indicted on felony charges of obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence.

Authorities said she was inside her apartment with three children and Daveonte Dixon , 21, when deputies and U.S. Marshals arrived to serve a search warrant in the hunt for Dixon.

Dixon, according to law enforcement, shot two Mifflin Township police officers two days before. He also reportedly fired at deputies outside Call's apartment while they attempted to negotiate.
