COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Monday's fatal three-car crash on Ohio 13 near County Road 70 in Perry County is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol .

Officials say Stephanie Padilla, 43, of New Lexington, died Thursday at Grant Medical Center after a 2013 Honda Civic she was driving Monday was hit by Caden Butkus, 20, of New Straitsville, who was driving a 2019 Ram truck southbound on Ohio 13.

Padilla's vehicle was reportedly stopped in traffic at the time of the collision, and police said the impact caused her car to veer off the right side of the roadway.
