MURPHYSBORO — This Sunday, Murphysboro United Methodist Church will mark a milestone no other congregation in Jackson County has reached — 200 years of continuous worship and service.

The celebration begins at 10 a.m. with a special worship service featuring Bishop David Bard as guest preacher. Former pastors, members and visitors from across the region are expected to attend.
