BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Bismarck native Terry Steiner is being inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. He is one of eight members of the 2025 Hall of Fame class.

Steiner has been the USA Wrestling Women’s National Coach since 2002, the first and only person to serve in this position. In six Olympics, he has coached four gold medalists, three silver medalists and six bronze medalists. In 17 World Championships, Steiner has coached 16 gold medalists, 17 silver medalists and 29 bronze medalists. Steiner was an NCAA champion for the University of Iowa and coached at the Division. I level before joining USA Wrestling.

Steiner will be inducted as a distinguished member of the Hall of Fame.
