GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KMOT) - Last week, Minot High girls’ tennis won its eighth team title in program history, second in the last three seasons, and finished the day an improbable 15-0 across the three duals.

It’s a celebration a full year in the making.

“I think we definitely came hungry, especially after last year,” said junior Kyllie Fettig.

In 2024, Minot girls’ tennis came one match short of back-to-back team state titles, losing to Valley City 3-2 in the championship.

“The feeling of two years ago, it was so exciting, and then again we lost last year, so I think it was just to come back and just have the same excitement and energy to win,” said junior Grace Olson.
