WASHINGN (TNND) — President Donald Trump announced U.S. officials will meet with their Chinese counterparts in London next week to discuss U.S.-China trade deals.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secreatary Howard Lutnick, and United States Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer will attend the meeting on Monday, he said.

Trump hinted this meeting during remarks at the White House.

“We have a deal, and we're going to just make sure that everybody understands what the deal is," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. "We had a really good conversation, by the way, he invited me to China, and I invited him here. We've both accepted.”
