SPENCER, Iowa (KTIV) - The City of Spencer, Iowa has announced the opening of the Spencer Aquatic Center.
On the City of Spencer, Iowa Facebook page , the city says the center will open on Saturday, June 7. The opening was delayed due to a loss of water that began during the week of Monday, May 26.
“Several tests were conducted, and it was identified that the leak could be mitigated by closing off one of the return lines,” said the city.
The city’s Park and Recreation Department will schedule a repair session during the off-season. In the meantime, they will continue to monitor the aquatic center.
