WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - She is the only incumbent on the ballot for the Watertown City Council.
Lisa Ruggiero says the city could be made more pro-business, and that would raise more sales tax money to deal with the city’s financial challenges.
Across two terms, she has endured her share of controversies and criticisms, but still wants term number three.
“I really have enjoyed what I’ve been able to do on City Council. Whether it’s to help people individually or help move the city forward with infrastructure projects and so forth,” said Ruggiero.
Osborne faces 6 other candidates in the June 24 primary, with the top 4 vote-getters going on to the November election.
