NORWOOD, New York (WWNY) - Music played while conversation and drinks flowed at the Lobster House in Norwood on Friday.

“It’s fun to reminisce,” said Bruce Tusler.

Once a month, a group of retired Alcoa employees gets together at restaurants around the North Country. It’s called the Alcoa Retirees Meet and Eat Club, which helps keep Alcoa retirees in touch.

2025 marks the club’s 20th anniversary, which originally began with Mike Sisto and a couple of his friends.

“When I started the club back in 2005, it was with 5 guys that I worked with, but over the years I met so many people that I didn’t work with but became close friends with, and that really means a lot to me,” said Sisto, Organizer of the Alcoa Retirees Meet and Eat Club.
