Readers of all ages can join Fort Bend County Libraries’ annual summer reading challenge through August.
How it works
This year's program theme is “Color Our World," and encourages participants to log their reading this summer at any of the 11 county libraries, regardless of county of residence, according to the library’s website .
The challenge is divided into three categories: children, middle schoolers and high school students/adults. Prizes and reading goals vary per group, according to the library’s website. Prizes include bookmarks, trophies and a Fire HD 8 tablet.
Readers can track their progress using the Beanstack app and collect prizes from any FBCL library through Aug. 29, according to the library’s website.
