LAUREL, Miss. (WDAM) - Ashton Chaney pleaded guilty to two of four charges against her after driving under the influence with her 8-month-old in the vehicle, according to Jones County Justice Court.

Jones County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a report of a reckless driver on Highway 15 North Thursday afternoon. 911 advisors said the green Tahoe was being driven erratically and had almost struck several vehicles.

Deputy RH Stockman was nearby and pulled Chaney over near a Tractor Supply. She was arrested by Sergeant Jeff Monk and charged with four different counts: Driving Under the Influence (1st), Child Endangerment, Child Restraint Law and Careless Driving. The child was picked up by a family member.
